Did you notice the clouds building and the breezes pick up this afternoon and evening? That's usually a warning sign of a change in weather...though it isn't as bad as you might think! (At least for summer lovers - guess it is bad news if you miss the cold and wet...)
A very weak system is scooting to our north overnight tonight (Tuesday) into tomorrow (Wednesday)...the main impacts will be clouds and cooler temps tomorrow, only in the low-70s. Might be a bit drizzly tomorrow morning, but not really expecting much more precip. Once we're past that, we'll be back to our normal "morning clouds, afternoon sun" thru the end of the week - temps hovering in the mid- to upper-70s, meaning it should be pretty pleasant!
Also - it's about the time of year when we start paying attention to potential impacts from wildfires. As of right now, it doesn't look like any fires within a few hundred miles of us are producing enough smoke to affect more than their immediate areas! But of course, the computer forecasts are only considering the locations of current fires - so that's subject to change if/when new fires start. Additionally, the winds several thousand feet up in the atmosphere will be coming from west to east, giving us fresh air from the Pacific Ocean - or what we call "onshore winds". (That's also what gives us "nature's air conditioning" in the summer!)
