Happy First Day of Summer! It’s gonna feel like it the next few days, including a Heat Advisory… but “Juneuary” has one more appearance to make this year…

First off: for the second week in a row, another hot spell to start the week. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory from 11am tomorrow (Monday) thru 11pm Wednesday. Looking a tad warmer than last week’s heat - upper-80s to near 90° on Monday and Wednesday, while Tuesday will probably bump into the low-90s. Overnight lows will only drop to near 60°. Stay in the shade and cool as much as possible, stay hydrated, and don’t take pets out for walks in the heat of the day!

A completely different story is shaping up for the second half of the week! Thursday is a transition day…afternoon high temps take a nose-dive back towards normal, only in the low-70s - but clouds start to fill in ahead of the next system. At this point, looks like showers hold off until overnight into Friday at the earliest. Friday thru next weekend look to be cool and showery. Temps as low as the mid- to upper-60s - might qualify as sweatshirt-weather!
